What is Scavify?

Scavify is a mobile app and platform for creating fun and engaging interactive scavenger hunts and mobile tours. Build your hunt or tour right here through our website and then launch it to the Scavify app for people to play. Create Photo Challenges, GPS Check-in tasks, QR Code Scan tasks, and Question & Answer tasks for people to complete. Players can track their progress, interact with other players, share everything with their social media and so much more. Scavify is the perfect program to implement to maximize engagement for your corporate event, trade show, team building, campus, social event, employee training, destination exploration and so much more.

Can Scavify be used on any device?

Scavify can be played on iOS (iPhone, iPad) and Android devices.

How do I build a hunt?

Choose a hunt from our pricing page to start building through our step-by-step hunt builder or contact us for a Full Service hunt setup.

How does my hunt get into the app?

After you have set all the details of your hunt, you simply hit the "Launch" button in the hunt builder to automatically make your hunt available in the Scavify app.

What information do I need to build a hunt?

At a minimum you will need a name for your hunt, the start and end dates, and a few tasks and challenges for people to complete. There are lot's of supplemental pieces of information you can add about your hunt including: subtitle, description, location, logos and banners and much more. The main information is really the list of tasks and challenges you want people to complete.

Can I add my logos?

Absolutely! We encourage you to do so to make the most professional experience possible. Adding logos is available for all Professional Hunt Packages.

I have logos but I'm not a graphic designer. Can you help me with the design?

Yes, with our Full Serivce setup we can do all of the design work for you and make sure your hunt looks amazing. Simply contact us.

I bought a hunt with a 30 day max. When does the 30 days start?

You have 12 months from the purchase date to start building your hunt. The 30 day duration refers to the duration between the actual hunt gameplay start date/time to the end/date time that you set when building your hunt.

How do people get into my hunt?

All they have to do is download Scavify and search for your hunt by name and join it.

I want to keep my hunt private. Can I password protect it?

Yes you can add a password to any hunt.

Can I disable social sharing?

Yes you can disable all social sharing with Professional Hunt Packages.

Can I hide the leaderboard?

Yes you can hide the leaderboard with Professional Hunt Packages.

How do I access the admin?

Simply Login right here on our website with the email address and password of the account used to create the hunt.

Can multiple devices login to my Admin Page at the same time?

Yes.

Can I edit my hunt after it is launched?

Yes you can edit any part of your hunt after it is launched including: tasks and challenges, end dates and times, logos and banners and just about everything else.

How do I download photos from my hunt?

When you are looking at the hunt details page there is a link to download the zip folder of all of the photos from your hunt.

Can I view all of the participants and the tasks they have completed in my hunt?

Yup.

I need to make an announcment to all of my players. What should I do?

If you need to make an announcement during your hunt there is an "Announcment" option in the General Details area of your hunt details in the admin where you can enter in annoucement text to be display in the game screen of the app to all players.

Can I preview my hunt to make sure everything is how I want it before people start joining?

You can preview everything except the task list by launching the hunt into the app and then checking out your hunt in the app. If you need to see what the task list is going to look like we recommend setting up a quick free trial hunt and adding a few tasks and challenges to get an understanding of what everything is going to look like.

Can I upgrade my hunt later?

In order to upgrade your hunt package you will need to contact us. We recommend choosing a package that will likely fit your needs best as upgrades can take 24-48 hours to process.

What happens if I reach my player max?

If you would like to upgrade your package please contact us.

I didn't reach my player max can I get partially reimbursed?

Unfortunately, we have to make sure there are enough resources allocated for your hunt in advance which have direct costs associated. With this being the case we are unable to offer partial reimbusements if you do not reach your max capacity.

How much does a Full Service setup cost?
